I dunno how thick its gonna be, but last I heard its gonna cost around $35 *for the hard cover*, I believe. I know that just about every model is getting a little errata, and some models are getting overhauled (Im thinking Repenters, Sentinels, Mechaniks), as well as a full rules update. This will have every rule in the game to this point, including Epic warcasters and Cavalry, even if they aren't included in the book.

Only thing I am pissed about is the fact there is new fiction in the book since if you want to keep up on the story you have to buy Remix. I guess this is what WM gets instead of a book this year.

Good to see they're keeping the "entry" book at a reasonable $25. Makes the game more appealling to new players.
Some companies think $50+ for a starting rulebook is acceptable however...

I hear that the fluff isn't going to necessarily be "new", like a continuation of the battle of Sul or anything, they're just going back and making some revisions and adding more stuff to what Prime already said- both books will have the same stories, but Remix will have a little more depth. I dunno about this being our WM book for the year- They already have about 90% of Prime done, they just need to add in some rules, change a few things, and put in some new pictures. The fact that they announced it in October and plan to release it in January suggests that its a very quick job- I think theres a chance we could see a new WM book sometime around the end of the year. Remember that Evolution is due out sometime this summer, too.

Also remember that evolution isnt just another hordes installment. Its gonna bring hordes up to date unit wise and such with what warmachine is now, so its gonna have to be a big godamn book. Which is alot of work to putogether so they may be busy with that.

I don't think Hordes is gonna catch up with just one book. Each book would need 2x the content each Warmachine book has. Im guessing that Evolution will be the equivalent of Escalation, but a little more content heavy. I'd say Escalation plus another maybe 50 percent?

Evoultio is designed to close the gap between Hordes and WM. They are getting weapon attachments and paltforms, Calavly and such such. They jsut aren't getting solos but if WM has it Hordes will get it in Evoultion. Hence the reason there is no new WM book next year I think so between all the Hordes models and all the stuff for Supoirity there is alot of models to still come out of the pipeline. But hey. What the fuckk do i know right?

yes, as far as I know and kako seems to be agreeing with me here, hordes will have everything warmachine has now, including epic warcasters and unique warbeasts

Last I heard, though don't quote me on this, is that they'll not be getting epics yet, but we can probably expect a whole bunch of new Warlocks- Hordes isnt ready for epics if you ask me. Unique warbeasts would be pretty awesome. I think there was a big discussion by Matt Wilson and some of the other PP staff about what we can expect to see in Evolution, I'll see if I can find it.

PP confirmed some time ago there will be no epic warlocks in Evolution. I typed my post wrong (nothing new there) and meant to say no Epics. They are getting solo. I would guess a character solo along with some other mixed solos
