Ok here is the scoop. I am going to be running the Witchfire Trilogy over the summer. I am going to take 5 players max, but most likely going to stick to 4 players. With that being said, there is going to be more players intrested than spots to open. So the only fair thing I can do is then to allow people to more of less "apply" to get into the game, and I will pick from those. So here is the requirements
Race: No Ogruns. None of the human ethicinity that would have a problem working with Cygnar, or who would have no intresting in helping saving their people. Meaning aless you have a good story as to why, don't try to pass off a Khard.
Class: All from the PHB and the Arcane Mechanic (either IKCG or LM version, though LM is better), Fell caller, and Arcane Gun mage.
Religon: No Thamar, Toruk, Devourer, worshippers. Cyriss and Menite have to have to the conviction to not be offended working with the Temple of Morrow. Also remember Cyriss is an illegal cult in Cygnar.
Alignment: Use your head here people. Those who like to steal, cheat and lie arent going to have an easy time here. That doesn't mean you can be chaotic, just dont be a dipshit about it. Evil isnt allowed at all. That leave you 6 aligments to deal with
Things I want to point out. The story starts in Felling in 602 AR. This means its considered "history" to WM storylines. For this fact, and the fact somebody have the book or know the story, metagaming is harshly dealt with. 3 warnings about metagaming and I will kick you out of the game, no further discussion involved. And its not just me who catches it. Other players are encouraged to point out meta gaming to me.
So what is posted here? You post your character name and a redown of your character history and personailty. Try not to write a novel. Game play tends to flesh things out, but post "I am Ludo, and I like pillowcases. My brother is dead, and that makes me sad" isn't enough. Do not mention your stats, and don't talk to me about them. And final thing. Only one posting per person. Choice one idea you like and submit it. If you change you mind before the deadline just modify the post. Also all players must be willing to post on Jackhead. This doesnt mean forums roleplaying. I mean use the time to talk things out, and lets me get from feedback and comments into the game.
No more post will be accepted after May 13, 2006 [/i]

Vasco Ovalho Todorian from midfast looking towards order of illumination, but not there yet neutral good morrowan born in Merin to upper middle class parents, joined military, assigned to Carre Dova patroling waters between there and 5 fingers. he quickly corrupted to the less appealing lifestile there. he left the military to persue his addictions, only to end up a beggar. his travels led him to the cathedral of morrow in five fingers. Prelate Lincon Daltrey helped him clear his head, and sent him to the cathedral of morrow in Midfast, where a mural of Asc.Markus's last stand inspired him to rejoin the military. Vasco wqs greatful for what Prelate Daltrey did for him and looked for a way to help people. He was loyal to the church, but lacked the devotion to become a cleric, so with assistance of local Golden Crucible members Vasco began studying the arcane arts. he became discontent with the ordic military's excessive drinking, so after developing rudementary spellcasting abilities he left Ord to adventure and help those in need. he has no ties with any order, and finds politics boring Some find his loyalties questionable because he will not side with a country. he fights with a sword and wears light armor, his spells are only to help people. he would only use magic to harm a paritcularly horrible creature.(undead or infernals) his past causes him to save money and only but what is needed. he is quie untill he is comphortable with someone. he has no problem with rogues, but will try to make them see the error of their ways. if they refuse, he will persist but subtly(sp?) he has no problems with other races, and is fond of gobbers very neutral good as he learned magic from crafters he will be taking item creation feats. he likes the feeling of accomplishment he gets from finishing something that will help someone take care of themselves. not friendly towards agents of the inquisition of supporters of other prejudiced orginazations he likes mice very much he wears a greatcoat and a large radiance.
um, this is a support character, not gonna be good at combat for a while

Player Name: Chris Talbot Character Name: June (Yes June can be a male name) Rayland Race: Caspian Human Class: Monk Religon: Morrow Alignment: Lawful Good Age: mid 20's
Born and raised in Caspian to an upper-class family. June always had everything he ever wanted, which was more often then not a new book. June loves to learn, he loves to know and understand things. June’s family was very religious so June in turn became very religious. Since June’s family was of higher class and had enough money June got a good education both in religion as well as in math and science. One of June’s favorite subjects however was history. Junes older brothers would inherit the family fortune so June decided to join the priest hood of morrow. The priest hood found that June was to smart and mostly just too full of energy to keep locked up in churches so they sent him to be trained in the order of keeping. June was trained both in mind and body to be a finder and protector of lost knowledge and artifacts.
Basically June is a servant of the order of keeping the group of morrow monks who find and protect religious artifacts. They also protect high rank religious officials but since June is young and that job dose not fit the campaign we could stick to more the artifact part of the job. I feel I could role-play this well and would look forward to it.

Grindak Bloodhammer Grindak was born in the thornwood forest where he spent most of his early life with the rest of his kriel. It was obvious from birth that he was born to be a fell caller, but back when bragg was still alive his "gift" and a liberal supply of trollkin alcohol had led to the destruction of one of their most sacred relics. Which led them to fear those with braggs gift. But instead of shunning him they simply allowed him to continue existing and denied him any knowledge of exactly what he was.Until one day when he and a hunting party came upon a large group of khadorans patrolling in the woods. They had heard of khadoran attacks against trollking and gobber settlements that had been going on for awhile now and feared that they may be next. So in order to prevent the destruction of thier kriel they set up and ambush for the khadorans. Unfortunately those particular khadoran raiders were the legendary kossite woodsmen, and knew the forests as well as the trollkin did. They anticipated the ambush, and after fierce fighting all that was left standing were a grieviously wounded Grindak and the kossite leader wielding a vicious looking axe. The kossite charged and sank his blade deep into grindaks shoulder severing his arm. Grindak released a tremendous howl of pain that could be heard for miles and shattered every bone in the kossites body. Grindak collapsed on the ground and passed out...Sometime later trollkin scouts from his kriel heard his cry and carried his body and the axe, which he had clutched in his good hand home. After arriving home he spent several months recuperating from his ordeal which left him with a large scar around his shoulder where his arm grew back and red stripes around his mouth and throat where his unrestrained call had damaged him. Because of this damage his felcalls to this day affect him more severly than other fellcallers. After he finished recovering he naturally began to explore his gift. Unfortunately his kreil would not allow this to happen so they banished him from his home. He wandered for a while taking up mercenary work where he could find it. There wasnt much military work suited for a lone trollkin but he found plenty of work bodyguarding various underworld figures or bouncing in bars around corvis. He still carries his trophy from the ogrun although he shortened it a bit for his size and uses it as a close range weapon, although generally if a situation escalates to the point he has to pull out his blade the sight of it is usually enough to scare the fight out of his opponents. As a fell caller he is continuing to perfect his craft and earns a little money on the side singing at the bars he protects. However he is growing bored with protecting bars and underworld scum from the usual drunken rifraf and thirsts for a worthy opponent to challenge his skills. So in order to find something worth fighting he joined a local mercenary group where he met a gobber with a obscenely long name, the two eventually became friends and left the mercenary group to persue their own fortune. They decided that if they were gonna be in business for themselves they would have to come up with a way to communicate without others knowing what they were saying, so they worked both of their racial languages together and came up with a combined version of them, they call it Mixed Molgur.

Gobber Rogue Ozkattakkamkankenralogreluladaatolelegemunhelegagagenahunalogamunanen, A.K.A Oz.
Oz grew up in a small kriel in Northern Cygnar. His mother was a Vishipudeetitaka (tinker) and had taught him how to make a living with his hands, and how to think out side the box. She showed him that some tools could be used for many purposes and how best to make these tools to do many tasks. Oz's father was a Kuteshihahutaka (warrior) but was not the conventional fighter. He specialized in the gathering of information, and fighting not with brute strength, but with speed and with intelligence. Both his parents were well respected in the community. However when Oz was 15 his kriel was attacked by a Kossite scouting party. They were attacked without warning and most of the defenders were killed before the enemy even revealed themselves. Oz watched as his parents and the other Kuteshihahutaka got cut down by the men streaming out of the woods. Oz grabbed what little he could carry and took off, managing to sneak by all of the kossites. A few years later after drifting from place to place barely surviving, Oz joined a mercenary group to earn a little money, where he met Grindak Bloodhammer a powerful trollkin. The two worked well together due to there difference in size, fighting styles, general abilities, and their tramatic experiances with the kossite woodsmen. Having fought together for a few years, the two are good friends having saved each others life more then once. However they have since left the mercenary group and have gone into “business” for themselves. In order to do this business without others overhearing they combined there 2 racial dialects into what they call mixed molgur. The laguage evolved over the years while the two of them were on missions together and during travel. It began with Oz trying to learn Molgur-trul, and when he realized the simmilarities between the 2 languages the 2 of them began to study the others language through speach. Eventually it came to the point where anyword in either language could be switched with the same word in the other, making a combination of the two. Not completely "uncrackable" but it requires a gobber and a trollkin to understand the full extent of what is being heard. Like listening to one side of a conversation.
Oz is a little over 3 feet tall and 35-40 pounds Oz's skin is more gray then most and his back teeth stick out more then other gobbers. He has an intense hatred of ogruns and doesn’t trust creatures that ar larger then them. His most recognizable feature is a scar on his right ear which was cause when the ogruns destroyed his village, this scar is accented by a small metal rod woven at the bottom of his ear. Oz is nimble and good with his hands, he makes tools to aid him in whatever job he is doing. He is also very fond of Regency Gold Cigars, and like most cigar smokers, will pay most prices for his favorite treat. He smokes at least 5 per day, or becomes callous and sarcastic.
Also, he is a rogue so he does do some "unlawfull" work, because thats where his talents lie. However he is neutral, and uses his talents not to just better himself, but to help out. EX: a well known and well liked diplomat who is trying to clean up his city is being threatened by certain individuals. Oz offers, for a small fee to go in and collect information implicating the wrong-doers, and turn it over to the diplomat. He is a mercinary and goes to the highest bidder, but only will take contracts after he has researched the background of it. He WILL NOT go against the Cygnaran millitary for any reason. Although money is money.

Garran Dunst Male Midlunder Ranger Chaotic Good
Garran was born along the frontiers of Northern Cygnar to a large and middle-class family. He was never taught a formal religion besides the occasional Morrowain hymn; as a result he developed an apathetic look on all religions. His family's main source of income was the timber trade in the Northern Midlunds. As a result many of the males in the family would be sent at early ages to the carpenters and lumberjacks as apprentices. Garran was no different. He spent the majority of his childhood and adolescents in the woods harvesting lumber. Only when he returned home did he encounter much industry. While fascinated by the advances he still considered the wilds to be his true home.
While he lived as a lumberjack, Garran developed a keen sense of direction and an ability to live in the forests of Northern Cygnar without much. Only recently though has the company he worked for been training its workers with firearms and weapons. They claimed it was due to increased wild animal attacks, but Garran thought it odd since he had never been attacked before. Soon enough he was taught how to fire a rifle. The smell of blackpowder was addicting to the young man. Soon he was participating in company marksmanship competitions and was performing rather well. But, Garran felt he could do better than working in a lumber mill for the rest of his days and sailed south to Corvis where he hoped to find work amongst the traders and mercenaries.
