as long as i take the warcaster armor proficency feat, i can wear warcaster armor right? and do you have to have a arcane turbine and powerfield installed? or could i just have breastplate with mechanical assist?

dan i dont think you can use warcaster armor unless you are a war caster. And even if you could it would be heavy armor and would therefore give you a hude armor check penalty. Plus you dont have tha ability that the warcasters get that give them extra shit when using the armor.

it will be alot better that what i'm wearing now, custom fitted breastplate- +5ac +4 max dex -2 armor check penalys and 20 feet movement. it costs 850 gp the mechanical assist abilities give it +1 ac, +2 max dex, +2 decrease in armor check penalty and +10 speed. that's already a + 6 armor bonus with no penaltys, and it weighs 28 lbs. edventually i want to slap on a +5 enhanement rune plate and plated of invunerability, and resistances to electricity and fire. with an arcane turbine and a powerfield it will only cost me 47,620 gp. I know that i won't be getting it for a while. The power field is awesome because it gives you 40 temporary hit points that regenerate 5 points a round. The only thing that a warcaster has to enhance it is the ability to recharge his powerfield by spending focus.. i read through the warcaster armor section more and realized that it does need an enging to use the mechanical assist.

i dont think there is any restriction on dan wearing it just that it is literally impossible for a non warcaster to get seeing as the only ones who hold the blueprints are the respective militaries.

The answer Dan is simiply "NO"
Here is my reasoning. Warcaster armor requires training to use, and its a closely eld secert. You are not a warcaster so its not like you are going to learn, and Jason isnt allowed to be teaching you.
And Talbot, I think its a consripcy and the mall secruity gaurds. That was the first thing I thought of when I read the new vgcats too

you could get an arcantrik convergance engine to rum mage armor for you and possibly other spells that would provide a deflection bonus. And haste gives you +1 ac, so you could have mage armor, haste, and stoneskin running all at once. Haste isn't on the list, but it talks about an engine that replaces boots of springing and striding so i would think that you could do it. Otherwise get displacement mage armor and blink.

Just to get in my 2 bits to back up Kako...
If you READ the book, warcaster armor proficiency is not a feat you can take. It is a class ability for warcasters as part of their "Journeyman Training" that begins at Wrc 1. Anyone can wear warcaster armor at penalties and without the benefits of the mechanikal assist (yes, even if the armor has it) Theoretically I could build you a suit, but there is relatively little point.
Some magic armor is still quite beefy, so don't be jealous just 'cause my armor is better than yours. Anything with invulnerable and a decent mod should be more than enough, but go nuts if you want. It's only your budget that limits you...
