While not being able to spell his name, i do have a question about his speach "for the motherland" specifically how it works in certian situations (some of these may sound stupid). First if the model is in meele when it is destroyed, can it make a ranged attack against another model, or since it was in combat before it died, does it have to make a meele attack? Second if a winterguard is knocked down, can he still use the ability to throw that winter guard into the line of fire? Third, can the winterguard, when they die shoot something in there back arc? Lastly, can Grigorovich use the toss in the way ability when he is being damaged by something in his back arc, while the winterguard being tossed is also targeted in the back arc? The card isnt very clear about how some of these things work, and I did a quick check of the forums and only found lists with him in it. It seems to me that he shouldnt be able to use the ability when targeted in his back arc. Please let me know if there has been any errata, or of any rulings regarding this. Thanks.

Without consulting any errata I would say this 1) A model that is in melee cant make ranged attacks period. 2)I would say yes, since the model is still in his range to use that abilty. It doesnt state they need to be able to move to block the LOS does it? if not then I would say its allowed 3) I would agree about the back arc ruling but that one is up in the air. Again I dont have the book with me (at geneseo) so I am not as sure.

Well, as far as I can tell from reading his text in Superiority (again, haven't checked the errata) There's no mention of the destroyed trooper getting to ignore any of the normal rules/restrictions for his parting melee or ranged attack, merely that they get make one.
As far as being able to throw somebody in the way, the sacrificial lamb has to be in Grigorovich's front arc, it makes no restrictions on where the attack originated from i.e. it doesn't matter if the enemy is in either model's back arc.
