[RANT WARNING]
You know...I have been noticing (in many aspects of life, not just in WM) that folks don't like to do their own research. And when they do, they want someone else to tell them what they just read means.
Is this just me?
[OK, it was just a short RANT.]

Oh I completly agree. Its one of the things that annoys me the most is how people assume you know all the rules and "Well its easier to ask you" instead of looking it up. Peraps they should have some common courteous and look it up for themselves. Granted since I left the guild I havent had to deal with this as much but it bugged me to no end..

as much as i sympathise with you guys and you are mostly right. Being asked questions about the game kinda comes with the territory of being a press ganger. So while i know the stupid questions youre asked some patience is warranted.

Dude, don't get me wrong...I don't mind being asked questions about the game, especially from new players.
There is a difference between: "What can this guy attack with?" and "Can I attack with all it weapons, or just one during an activation?" The first question implies the person didn't read the unit's card nor the rulebook too closely. The second question is more of a clarification about a confusing issue: can a unit (specifically warjacks) make a number of attacks for each weapon they carry?
I think I was implying more in "real life" though. It seems like unless people see it on TV and are told exactly what a particular thing is supposed to represent...they are unwilling to make decisions for themselves, or to come to reasonable conclusions based on the information they learned.

yea, id have to agree with you there, just look at the warning labels on some of your houshold products and you'll see examples of this abound.

More reason to get people to game. It forces people to think and make spontanous rational moves, which is oh so rare in this world imho. And yes there is a line behind a real question and a plan stupid one. Granted I am a little more harsh and if I can read word-for-word out of the rule manual to answer a question for somebody who has playd over a year thats just plain annoying. How is that solved. RTFR! too bad the neighor's cat didnt read that
