Ok ladies here is the scoop. On Novemeber 26th at 1pm I will be running a tournament. Gasp I know. It will be 500 point tournament using the Steamroller format. Rounds will be 1 hours in length like Steamroller requires. Remember to have two 500 point lists. You can use either one, but logically only one at a time. They must be of the same faction. Mercs can be treated as their own faction as they can win a Steamroller coin. Otherwise Merc wascaster must be allowed to worked with your faction. If I see a Cygnar played with a Magnus back up list I will hit you on the back of the head. Entry fee is a modest $5 (see below for more on this). Not too much since all thats up on the line are sexy cool coins and gold cards, but who cares about that stuff right? See you. See you all then! Event is at The Gamer's Guild, NY Clifton Park, 518-371-8336. Also listed in NQ magazine. Edit: All models are required to be together (aless it break DURING the tournament) and painted. Tough luck for the lazy. Post questions or if you plan on attending. Thankies

I'd like to do 750 too, but it does take a lot longer. Rounds would have to be an hour and a half, which means we'd have less rounds.

Sorry, if you want to try Grand Melee out then you will have to do it some time other than during the tournament. For now I am sticking to the time tested and true method of 500 points

I just want to let you guys know that the $5 entry fee might increase a few dollar depending on how many people turn out. We need 14 people to show to cover the cost of the prizes at the $5 level. The cost will not rise above $10 a person. If will foot any remains if it comes down to that. If anybody wants to check my math I will explain it all to you if you really care to know. What does this really mean? Means you need to get as many people to come as you can since it means you are paying less. I would even be willing to drop the admission rate if we get more people There is some incentive for you jews

14 people need to enter? Why so many? Thats like...$70 bucks. I thought PP's prize support was in the $50 range?

The kit is now $55. . The Guild takes $1 per person in a tournament so in reality each person only contruibtes $4 to the bill. So with the good old math 55/4=13.75, but there cant be 3/4th a person so 14 people. See kids, math does have a function in the real world!

Ok q&a time:
"Do merc players have to use the Contacts rules from NQ1?"
Yes, otherwise they arent techincally an army. This shouldnt be hard to do just really limits a merc player from playing a magnus and ashlynn lists. Otherwise you are allied to a faction and not mercs. (ie Magnus and ashylnn would be a Menoth list, go figure)

What about across lists? Could a player make a list with magnus, then switch it out for a list with Ashlynn?
