I recently came up with a 750 point Darius list and i want to know what people think...
Darius-93 GMCA-32 Journeyman-25 Trenchers+2-109 w/ unit attachment-41 Gernade porter-16 Finn-31 Ironclad-103 Centurion-113 Hammersmith-111 Grenadeir-68
this totals out to 742 points. I like it because while jack heavy, having the trenchers gives me quick "powerfull" troopers to allow me to advance without to much damage to my jacks, and the grenades will allow me, with darius's cannon, to kill troopers in the way. With full throtle and being able to trample I dont have to give alot of focus to the jacks' to keep them going.

It looks good, though I think you'll have some trouble standing up to a melee oriented infantry heavy army- Once the Trenchers are gone, the number of attacks you can dish out will be limited. Granted, they hit hard, but probably not often enough to save your jacks. However, that aside, you've got a pretty solid army list.

Does seem a little 'jack heavy for a 750 list, but I guess as long as you can use their abilities and the 'jacks to keep the troops safe it'll definitely be workable. Against melee forces you'll have to put the 'jacks out in front so you can counter w/ the trenchers and Finn

i agree that with that many jack's i would have to be careful how they are positioned. but the trenchers provide a strong counter charge and ranged cover.

i could drop the hammersmith for a charger, 2 trenchers, and a storm smith.

One flaw I see with the list is the Hammersmith being there. I havent played aganist him but looking at its stats I am just not impressed. Perhaps it would be good for pushing people off points in SR. Other than that I wonder why not take an Ironclad or something more useful.

Why not drop the Grenadier for a min Stormguard unit, or the Hammersmith for the Max unit?
