So, Im going to try for a themed Knight Exemplar army..which includes the following, thusfar
High Exemplar Kreoss Exemplar Seneschal x2 Knights Exemplar x3 Full Choir x1 Paladin of the Order of the Wall
Im at a loss as to what else to put in. Can anyone offer some advice? Keep in mind, this is a Themed army. Mostly, I cant figure out which jacks best associate with Knights Exemplar. Get back to me.

Drop the paladin. he is a waste of points. Take 2 revengers. Also drop the the choir. They arent knights by any means so why are they there. Kreoss Seneschalx2 Exemplars x3 Revenger x2 491 points

when the devout come out he'd make a great knight
btw they seem like a jack, besides the chickens, that would be great to try enmass.

The devout is nice, and I would almost think about dropping a knights lists like this to 2 Exemplar units to take one, just so Kreoss doesnt get his behind kicked like a Menite caster... So then Kreoss (64) 2x Senshal(68) 2x Exemplars (138) 2x Revengers (152) 1x Devout (69) 491 points total, so room for 1 wracks (501 for 2 which sucks!! so close yet so far)
Granted thats jack heavy but its worth it I think. Having only 1 arc node in a list with Kreoss (or any Menoth caster) I personally feel is a bad move, since our magic is so powerful. Not to mention Kreoss has ward and returibtion some of the best spells in the menoth list and they are jack only.

I'd be tempted to try dropping one of the revengers for the third unit of exemplars. If knights is your theme, balls to the wall it. If you want a strategic force, then a mixed arms is inevitable.

It would be more themed, I would just question having 1 arc node in the list. I have found out that that is usually is bad idea..

Well if youre going with a themed list strategical value really has to take a back seat, but an exemplar army is still a force to be reckoned with even with only one arc node. You just have to adjust your playstyle a bit.

Well if we where going for strategy then an exemplar army would suck. I am sorry but a swarm of guys with crap DEF isnt scary aless you have some armor and damage boxes... So what if that last guy get a 20 arm? Just means a pow 12 hit needs to be boosted. I havent been using exemplars becasue for 69 points, they die too easy. Again this is my opinon, and I like to go for the best point-pain ratio. Zealots are the winner there imho

Their armor doesn't really matter with a few well placed blood rains, and they are fairly easy to hit.

yes, thats my point. they have low DEF and their armor still isnt worth it imho...
