I have been working with his caster alot more and I have to tell you he is great. I kinda missed the fact he can make clouds for 1 Focus. Allows me to hide behind a wall of ash until its time to lay on the hurt. I am really liking his play style. So which Menite wants to face me so I can get lots and lots of focus.

I never really liked the High Reclaimer because of that lack of focus, but now with the addition of a Wrack or two, I might be tempted to try and run him a couple times..

I Hate HR armies. First off, there are too many targets! Secondly, they don't stay dead. Thirdly, they die and make the HR more powerful. Fourthly, they hide behind ashe that doesn't affect them, but woe to the unit that rushes through it!
No, I really detest HR armies.

I seem to recall a certain Mr. Connor running through a wall of FIRE with no problem. Agreed, that was with Strykers feat popped, but Im sure Arcane Sheild would work almost as well. Warjacks work too. Run a sentinel through the ashcloud and unload on them Zealots!..or Choir!..or whatever!

Playing the HR is kind of overwhelming. You'll want to take out the infantry, but he'll get more focus for each guy you kill so I tried to kill the Reclaimer first, and if you couldn't guess, that didn't work out that well.
... they'll atleast find you handy!" < close enough I guess haven't seen RG in qtleast a year.

Definately a great defensive caster. Ash clouds to funnel/block your opponent and more focus as his ppl die. I think he lacks the combat ability and spell potential for a psycho rush thing tho'. Also, it makes sense to take lots of infantry, but at the same time his silence doesn't help them. A tricky one, but certainly worth his weight for an experienced player.

Until Feora came along, the High Reclaimer was the Protectorates Go-To guy for a melee caster. He is pretty brutal, a definate "in your face" caster. I think the inclusion of a Guardian in a High Reclaimer army would make him quite nasty, to offset the Vow of Silence, and it gives him an arc node! Everybody wins, except the enemy.
I just started painting him the other day, as a side project. I need to run him more often.
