so far...
A Thurian war bard by the name of Brunner Pendrake...cousin of Jenna Pendrake from High gate (at least thats where i think we met her)...after not hearing from our group for some time and having recieved word about the train accident Jenna called apon her cousin Brunner to see if he could find out what happened to our rag tag bunch. Brunner like most war bards attended Cygnarian Strategic school, so that he would be able to aid the military in its conquests. Before being sent on this mission, Brunner was up in Khador where he was doing recon. work. Because of this Brunner speaks fluent Khadoran, and his time up there has allowed him to study their primitive, strange, and primal music. Using his infuluence and unlimited knowledge plus a little effort, managed to find out that our grup had last been spotted in Point Borne, so he headed that way. Many years of training have allowed Brunner to become quite good at playing the bag pipes and has also mastered the art of combat with (also to be determined). Brunner has recently arrived in Point Borne but has yet to locate our heros...due to extrenuating circumstances. He has been given orders to find the group and to aid it in any way necessary. Brunner is a follower of Morrow but is not employed by the cygnarian government to do conventional tasks. Brunners talents are often used in more covert situations. He is also used to gather information, because some how, he has a way to get people to tell him things. Brunner can be described as a large man, with a large stomach and a big beard, with his bag pipes slung over his shoulder and his_____in his hand, he is an impressive sight. Through all of this however Brunner still likes to play his bag pipes for local people for thier enjoyment.

number 2 - Midlunder Monk/Cleric that goes by the name of Milo Atwood. Milo and his family, his mother, his father, and his two older brothers moved up from their birth place which was in Midlunder, to Ryn. They were hoping to have a better quality of life, however that was not the case. Milo became involved with a street gang whose leader went by the name of Jagger d' Petrozzi. Milo and Jagger became good friends. After a few years Milo's father and Mother were in a train accident and killed, which left Milo alone, because his brothers had gone to Ord to find work. Milo wept for his parents and abandoned his friends to being a life in the bottle. A month or so later he heard that his friend Jagger was wanted for robbery and assault, and Milo had a revelation. He thought that if his parents hadn't died then he would be in the same mess as Jagger. Milo thought that for once Morrow was smiling apon him. The very next day (when he sobered up) Milo went to the church and asked how he could help spread Morrow's faith, and was told that he should become a monk. After a number of years hard work Milo finished his training, and set off to spread faith in Morrow. Milo traveled around the country of Ryn, Ord, and Cygnar helping people, by working their farms with them, earning money through odd jobs to give to poor families, and fighting off bandits or wild creatures who were terrorizing towns. In one instance Milo was escorting a group of hunters back from a hunt that had gone badly. One of the hunters had been shot and Milo helped carry him back to the village, when he noticed that a man clad in armor was trying to fend off a number of cloaked men. Milo placed the injured man down and charge in to help this man. He fought with all Morrow's might and defeated every last one of the black clad warriors. The man he had helped turned out to be a paladin of Morrow and was suprised to see that a lowly Monk had the ability to defeat the enemies. Milo and the Paladin whos name was Victor Hurst. Victor told the clerics at the nearest church about Milo and suggested that he be trained as a cleric so that he could better aid the innocent. A few years later Milo emerged from that Church a full cleric of Morrow and rejoiced that his god smiled apon him. Milo continued to travel and help the helpless, until one day he noticed a wanted sign with his child hood friend Jaggers face on it. Milo though that he would like to see his friend again and see if his name could be cleared. Milo wanted to help his friend out of trouble. In speaking with the Cygnarian military, he found jagger was last seen in High Gate. From there Milo travel across Cygnar trying to find any trace of his friend. After two months travel Milo stopped in an industrial city known as Point Borne. When Milo arived in Point Borne, he discovered from talking with the locals that there had been a great massacure a few days back and decided to stay and help the local church. In talking with a Cleric who was preforming funeral rite, whose name was Ashlan, that his friend was in town and that once their duties were finished she would take Milo to see Jagger. Milo is a very firm believer in Morrow, belongs to the Order of Keeping and worshipsAscendant Rowan the patron of the Downtrodden, Champion of the poor. He takes his work very seriously, but will do things aginst law if he believes it for the better good.

I like it, but if jagger is executed how will he respond? he could just stay in the bar for the rest of his life, or would he act as an escort to the party, making sure they do not sway from the path of righteousness? He could try to rescue jagger and become his cohort?
this could be interesting

Well besides having to rely on another character's existense as a crutch its a good idea. I think Dan makes a good point about how he might react is Jagger is executed. Would that comprise his faith somehow or does his sense of law prevail his childish friendship?

Milo's reaction would be of grief, however the terms of jaggers death might spurn some questions...because at this point and to milos knowledge jagger has never been caught...why now...and why would jagger enter into something wht out being able to get out. Milo's faith will never become a question...he is totaly devoted, however he might take it apon himself to find out the exact circumstances of jaggers death.

perhaps that is the point. And again like the idea of Milo though I think maybe you should change the background so that Jagger is not included. I think making PC all linked together makes for a little too much serependity for my tastes.

ok ive figured out how to remove jagger from Milos back ground.
Milo belonged to a street gang...when his parents left to go back to Midlunder to visit relatives, he had a huge fight about why he didnt want to go ect. his parents went with out him, and died in a train accident on the way there. Milo feels responsible for there deaths. Milo realizes that if he had gone with them he would have die also...(this is after he boozes it up for a few months) he then joins the church.Milo is at a chuch near point Borne and hears of the massacure, and rushes quickly to point borne where he meat Ashlan a cleric who is preforming funeral rites. Milo asertains from Ashlan that she is in need of some help regarding a group of travelers. Milo being who he is, tells Ashlan that he will aid her as soon as the rites are completed. This was Milo is linked to the church to get him to point borne, and meets a fellow member of the clergy. Ashlan becomes his link to the group.

I want to clerify that Milo will follow the word of Morrow above all else, and while he is lawfull good, which he must be in order to be a monk, he will violate the law if it is for the better good of the people and for the Morrowan faith.
Please some one tell me if non lawfull acts (obviously not horrible, and deadly acts) will change Milo's alignment so that he will no longer function as a monk...basically what are the statues of limitaion.
And please let me know whether i should have this character written up for wednesday.

I have Milo on a character sheet only awating stats and skills. I also wanted to metion that Milo in his travels has heard a great many tales , stories, folk lore, and legends. He is quite knowledgeible, in this type of information. Milo also is a skilled musician, he enjoys preforming to the masses on his fiddle, on which he plays music with a fast beat. He does this purely for enjoyment, helping to uplift the spirits of the poor, and trying to get them in touch with their faith.
